Florida is among the hardest states in the country to recover from an eviction on paper. Filings sit in the county clerk's public records, there is no statewide sealing or expungement process for them, and they remain searchable indefinitely. Florida also has no statewide source-of-income protection. In practice a Jacksonville filing from a decade ago can still be pulled up by a screening vendor and used to decline you, with no procedural route to remove it.
That is the gap this program is built for. Nothing about your record changes — instead, your record stops being the thing under review. When the applicant on the lease is a company with its own credit file and lease references, the automated screen that would have rejected you never runs against your name.
